´óÏ㽶µ¼º½ last successfully completed an accreditation visit in 2021. Its next comprehensive visit will be during the 2026-2027 Academic Year. ´óÏ㽶µ¼º½ has been accredited since 1932.

Program Accreditations

Education Department

´óÏ㽶µ¼º½ College’s Teacher Education Program was officially accredited by the on March 11, 2021, and fully accredited by Kansas State Department of Education until December 31, 2027, when the next review takes place. The program met all standards required by the Council for the Accreditation of Educator Preparation, which ensures the quality of the education program leading to teacher licensure for students who are wanting to teach in elementary, middle, or secondary levels. ´óÏ㽶µ¼º½’s approved programs include K-6 Elementary Education, 6-12 programs in Biology, English, Math, and Social Science Teaching. PreK-12 teaching programs are offered in Art, Health/Physical Education, and Vocal and Instrumental Music Teaching. Students can add endorsements in PreK-6, 6-12 English Language Learners (ELL) and Special Education High Incidence in K-12, PreK-6, or 6-12.

Music

Accredited since 1935, The has been recognized by the United States Department of Education as the agency responsible for the accreditation of all music curricula. ´óÏ㽶µ¼º½ was the third institution of higher learning in Kansas to earn accreditation in NASM.


Other

´óÏ㽶µ¼º½ College is on the  (AAUW) qualified list. The AAUW, officially founded in 1881, is a non-profit organization that advances equity for women and girls through advocacy, education, and research. The organization has a nationwide network of 170,000 members and supporters, 1,000 local branches, and 800 college and university partners.

´óÏ㽶µ¼º½ College maintains an American Association of University Professors (AAUP) Chapter. Founded in 1915, the AAUP has helped to shape American higher education by developing the standards and procedures that maintain quality in education and academic freedom in this country's colleges and universities.
